My Vision Board
Present🎁or Present👋, which is it?
Are you going to be present this year, 2025?
I don’t know if they do it today. But back in my day. In the classroom, the teacher would call out your name, and you, the student, would answer by saying, “I’m present, indicating that you are in attendance.
Question: Are you here or there?
Vertical means something that extends upwards and downwards, like a standing person, while horizontal refers to something that extends side to side, like a flat line on the ground; essentially, vertical is up and down, and horizontal is across or sideways.
And are you here or there? Means you are currently in this location (where the speaker is) or somewhere else; it’s asking someone to clarify if they are physically present in the current spot or somewhere distant.
Are you here…vertical or pointing up to heaven?
Or are you there… horizontally or pointing somewhere else?
Are you here, present with God, or are you there(cares of this world weighing you down?
Sing: We’re Stressed Out, a song by Twenty-one Pilots.
Sing: Just a Stranger on the Bus, What If God Was One Of Us, a song by Joan Osborne.
Sometimes, the hardest thing to do is be here because everything in you wants to be there.
Questions: Make a list; what are some of the things that are keeping you from being here? And why do you prefer to be there?
You guessed it; this is good news. You have to be both here and there.
To be Here to receive uploads from God, and to be There is to distribute the downloads to the people.
Uploading is when you are transferring data from your computer to the internet.
Downloading is when you are transferring data from the internet to your computer.
God🖥is the computer, and He is transferring data to the internet🌎which represents the people.
Being Here represents getting a vision board from God. And being There represents being Harvesters for God.
Question: Are you creating your own vision board or are you getting your vision from God and Bible?
Thirty-plus years ago, I got my vision board from God, and I’ve been a Harvester for God ever since…This Little Light is a song by LZ7(Starz Angels Remix)
I would like to encourage you to get a vision board from God and become Harvesters, for the fields are ripe; John 4:35-38.
First, you receive it, in your spirit, a vision from God, a still small voice of God whispering something to you that no one else thought about, like a solution to a problem. Then, you begin to create it on your vision board.
Combining the spirit ideas from God with natural creativity. I’m so excited, I can’t wait to see what God will show me; rubbing my hands with👏glee. Smile!
A personal vision board is a collection of images and words that represent your goals, dreams, and aspirations.
For example, when God shows me something, It’s like we’re playing Pictionary.
God shows me a slice of bread🍞+plus peanut butter and jelly😋=equal what, God says.
I responded by saying, I know the answer: what is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich🥪😋I got the nod from God. That’s correct, says Father God.
As I began to write it down, like a jigsaw puzzle, the pieces slowly but surely came together and just like that, I saw the big picture🖼
It took me over 30+ years to see the big picture. So, be patient with yourself. It doesn’t all come at once, but over time.
An idea💡here, a✍️word there, and a👍confirmation that you’re headed right. And then one day, you look up and look back and you begin to see the whole📸picture. Sing with me: Look Where He Brought You From; Mighty Long Way, a song by Tye Tribbett.
Like I a🎬movie that finally came together. You can see the whole script and all the scenes. It doesn’t make sense now, but it will in time.
Now, let’s create your vision board
1. Write down your ideal life/business/ministry.
2. Select the areas of your dream and break them down into categories.
3. Find visual representations of your categories.
4. Create your board.
5. Display your vision board in a placewhere you’ll see it often.
6. Update your board as you see fit.
Vision boards are biblical. In Habakkuk 2:2, it tells us, And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.” Proverbs 29:18 tells us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
God has created us with eyes in our hearts with which we can see, picture, and visualize. God wants to fill these eyes with His dreams, visions, and images (Acts 2:17). Jesus lived in pictures continuously (John. 5:19,20,30)
A vision always reveals God’s glory. When you see His glory and power, a God-given vision will leave you astonished and sometimes even numb for days.
Question: What will you put on your vision board?
It’s time to start manifesting‼️Good luck🖖
Ask God to give you a vision for 2025 and the rest of your life.
Say this with me! “Father God, please give me a vision for my life so that when I get distracted, I have something to focus on. Thank you, Father God.”
So, Present🎁or Present👋, which is it? Which one are you bringing to your King(Jesus), or is it Both?
Ps: Branding, walk like you’re wearing God’s brand; Ephesians 2:10; Masterpiece song by Danny Gokey.
Welcome, I'm Karen!
Hello friend! Writing has been my passion since I was nine. Winning my first writing contest at that young age inspired me to keep improving my skills. Fast forward to when I was 22 years old when I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that led me to become a devout Christian. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to use my writing abilities to spread the word of God and positively impact the world.
- Over the past 30 years, I have poured myself into my writing, producing a wide range of content that spans from letters to prisoners and newsletters to newspaper articles, books, and social media posts.
- For the past four years, I have even been contributing to the Churchome App, sharing my thoughts, insights, and experiences with the wider Christian community.
- I am particularly proud of my latest books, "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" and "It's Just Good Housekeeping."
- "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" is about loving God, loving people, and serving people.
- "It's Just Good Housekeeping." is about finding an attractive way to encourage everyone to read their Bible because reading the Bible has an impact on keeping our lives clean and pure.
These books are a testament to my love of writing, as well as my commitment to using that writing to inspire, inform, and entertain people from all walks of life.
