Let the Horse Pull You
Let the HORSE🐎pull you…
This RHEMA WORD is for
p. Cora Jakes and
p. Ron Carpenter, from Miss Karen
I just want to say,
p. Ron Carpenter, I listened to “Today’s Devotional and prayer about Hearing God’s word.”
And, p. Cora, I heard you preaching👏🙌 💯yesterday’s message on 9/11/24, called
For your consideration.
Outstanding, wonderful, well done! I give you 5 out of 5🌟stars.
Keep it up, I’m always listening🥰
Anyway, both of you asked a question.
p. Ron Carpenter, you said, I need a word and…
p. Cora, you said How am I supposed to get through… blah, blah, blah.
Here is my answer
Focus on the🐎🎠🏇HORSE…or what drives you! Let it pull you forward.
In the spirit, Jesus is pulling you. But in the natural, let the horse pull you forward; because Jesus is using the horse🐎to pull you.
Job 39:19-25
What is the horse?
The horse gets you through whatever you’re going through.
The HORSE pulls the CART🚘
And what is the cart?
The things that you’re dealing with. Such as situations and circumstances.
I learned to eat the elephant🐘one teaspoon at a time.
Yes, the problem looks big and overwhelming, but eat the elephant one teaspoon at a time until you’re finished by breaking the problem down into small tiny bites🫦or solutions.
Pastors, I want you to ask yourself some questions.
1. Why do you like to preach or teach?
2. Why do you grab the microphone?
3. Is because you like to talk?
4. Why do you like the pulpit ministry?
5. You could have picked any ministry, why that one?
6. Why the passion; is it because you love what you do?
7. Is it because God called you, or is it that God called you to do something that you love with a passion?
8. And p. Cora,
Why do you say …and so it is…and it is so… amen.
I love it! I Love it! Say it again!
I remember being a greeter and a host, but I didn’t like it because I didn’t like being an extrovert. I did not like it one bit.
But ask me to sit quietly in a corner and write. Now the light💡comes, start your engine, and I’m ready to go… energy kicks in or horsepower.
I could be dead tired, but I’m still running… on horsepower because it’s what I love to do, and it suits my personality.
What is it that you love to do?
I’m trying to show you where the horse🐎is…or horsepower.
Use the horsepower to pull you through the Moving Forward song by Israel Houghton.
You see, for me, my horsepower turns on even more when I hear these words…
Return to Sender or Back to the Owner song by DJ Nicholas.
Everything must return to sender or back to the owner… or God… back🏡home to God.
…back through the womb, back through the birth canal…
back where the sperm and the egg got together.
Before that, back to where spirits are born, back to God, basically.
You see, that’s what drives🚗me or motivates me. Or the purpose behind the purpose or the reason behind the reason.
It’s like saying, when this light affliction is over, I’m gonna be going home to my Father God and I’ll be in His🤲hands forever.
Jesus had a horse that🚗drove.
Him too!
This light “affliction; 2 Corinthians 4:17, that I’m going through, talking about the cross✝️is nothing compared to the glory and being “seated at the right hand of the Father God; Luke 22:69; Romans 8:34; Ephesians 1:20; Hebrews 1:3; Hebrews 12:2; says💙Jesus.
Whoever reads this post, I pray it encourages you to “focus on your🐎horse too.
Ask yourself some questions.
1. What drives you or motivates you?
2. Why do you keep going?
3. Why do you “dig in?
4. What keeps you from quitting?
5. Why do you live for the challenge?
6. What makes you want to plant your flag and go where you’ve never gone before?
7. Will you give yourself a prize after you pass the test; what is it?
For me, every time I pass a test, I reward myself with a slice of chocolate cake🧁🍰and a glass of milk because it keeps me going. Something to look forward to at the end of my test. Right!
If food is your motivation, use it.
If money, love is… use it. Whatever gets you out of bed. Feel me?
Even the NFL players do it.
1st and goal, 3rd and goal, 4th and goal, if you noticed, they stop and celebrate, everytime; because a win🏆is a win.
They celebrate, even if it’s a small accomplishment. By the time they get to the touchdown, it’s a party because they’ve been celebrating the small win, which turned into a big win all along the way.
Thank you, Lord, because if it wasn’t for the…
valley, Logos word, or 80% of study time spent with the Lord. We would not have the
mountain top or 20% Rhema word from God.”
I’m calling this, the bonus round; THE ENCOURAGING WORD for the week or the last of the last post, before I head into the weekend👍
Because tomorrow is Friday song by Flame.
Welcome, I'm Karen!
Hello friend! Writing has been my passion since I was nine. Winning my first writing contest at that young age inspired me to keep improving my skills. Fast forward to when I was 22 years old when I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that led me to become a devout Christian. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to use my writing abilities to spread the word of God and positively impact the world.
- Over the past 30 years, I have poured myself into my writing, producing a wide range of content that spans from letters to prisoners and newsletters to newspaper articles, books, and social media posts.
- For the past four years, I have even been contributing to the Churchome App, sharing my thoughts, insights, and experiences with the wider Christian community.
- I am particularly proud of my latest books, "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" and "It's Just Good Housekeeping."
- "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" is about loving God, loving people, and serving people.
- "It's Just Good Housekeeping." is about finding an attractive way to encourage everyone to read their Bible because reading the Bible has an impact on keeping our lives clean and pure.
These books are a testament to my love of writing, as well as my commitment to using that writing to inspire, inform, and entertain people from all walks of life.
