Becoming Unstuck/How to Start the Fishing Business

…becoming un-stuck
How to start the fish🐟business
Launch into the deep and let down your net for a catch; Luke 5:4.
But striking a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the prow stuck fast and remained immovable, but the violence of the waves was breaking up the stern; Acts 27:41.
They became stuck…
In response to
p. Sarah Jakes Roberts’s message on 9/15/24 called “Made for this.”
I just wanted to say; I see you, girl, nicely👍done; I’m ma have to grade you too on the… smile🤣
Four Reasons why we get stuck.
Matthew 4:18-21; Luke 5:1-11.
1. We see Simon called Peter and Andrew casting their nets.
Everything is great in the “honeymoon stage” or small business start-up.
2. We see James, the son of Zebedee, and John, his brother, mending their nets.
Meaning I received some scars and my hands became blistered from working so hard.
3. Fishermen washing their nets. Meaning, I’m done with this. I quit for the day or… I’m turning in my…
4. Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing.
Meaning, Master, we’re working hard, but we still broke…no money, no😘honey, feel me!
What’s your reason for being stuck?
You started the business, but they didn’t tell you what to do when you get stuck and…
How to become un-stuck
…going forward, keep this information in your “back pocket; share it with the “next generation when they get “stuck too.
Because what goes around, comes around; there’s nothing new under the sun; Ecclesiastes 1:9.
…sing: You got me going in circles, oh, oh, round and round I go…
Break the Cycles song by Jonathan McReynolds.
Matthew 4:19: Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
1. Follow me is a hard thing to hear if you wish to remain single or sole proprietorship.
2. I will make you; or being on the potter’s wheel is hard, because sculpting takes time or iron sharpens iron; Proverbs 27:17.
Don’t you know it’s “teamwork makes the dream work. The clay working together with the potter. Hmm! Yeah Man!
Sing The love🥰⛵️boat.
3. Fishers of men means Jesus has to teach you how to fish.
Meaning it’s time to get to class… SBA or small business association; and Bible College 101… use your business to catch fish for Jesus. The boat is your business, and the bait is bible verses.
Question: If everybody is fishing in the same pond, where are you going to go fish?
No one thought of going fishing in a different pond with different bait.
For example I had to learn to fish in a different pond and in a different way;
like posting for Jesus and reaching avatars for Jesus in the metaverse, etc.
You see, that’s different, a different kinda pond and a different kinda fish with a different kinda bait.
How did I become un-stuck
Answer: The Pandemic
Before the pandemic, I was not taking life seriously.
But watching millions of people get sick😷and die.
There was an urgency in me to get right with God or get left.
I did not wish to be left behind. So I did what I knew to do; Ephesians 5:16; and maximized my potential.
Meaning that I did as much as I could do, got it done, finished, and left a legacy for the next generation👨‍🎓👩‍🏫🧑‍🏫👨‍🍳🧑‍🔧👩‍🚒👨‍✈️👷👩‍🦰🧍‍♂️to stand on my shoulders; stand taller add what you’ve learned from me to your treasure chess or bank vault.
If you must know, I made a team of people. I play for Team Jesus now. Woo-hoo!!!😊We work as a team…
Will you work with Jesus in the fishing🐟business…
and invite people to come to Jesus; Romans 10:9-13.
I would like to encourage you to get involved in the family business; Luke 2:49.
…now that you have become go do; run the family business.
Karen Hyles
Welcome, I'm Karen!
Hello friend! Writing has been my passion since I was nine. Winning my first writing contest at that young age inspired me to keep improving my skills. Fast forward to when I was 22 years old when I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that led me to become a devout Christian. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to use my writing abilities to spread the word of God and positively impact the world.

  • Over the past 30 years, I have poured myself into my writing, producing a wide range of content that spans from letters to prisoners and newsletters to newspaper articles, books, and social media posts.
  • For the past four years, I have even been contributing to the Churchome App, sharing my thoughts, insights, and experiences with the wider Christian community.
  • I am particularly proud of my latest books, "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" and "It's Just Good Housekeeping."
  • "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" is about loving God, loving people, and serving people.
  • "It's Just Good Housekeeping." is about finding an attractive way to encourage everyone to read their Bible because reading the Bible has an impact on keeping our lives clean and pure.

These books are a testament to my love of writing, as well as my commitment to using that writing to inspire, inform, and entertain people from all walks of life.
