2035

2035

It just dawned on me that little Johnny will be turning 30 years old in 2035.
Question: Are your young adults ready to face 2035 and beyond?
They will be the next TEACHERS and preachers.
New leaders today are young adults or Millennials and Gen Z.
Let’s look at the future; the year 2035 is fast approaching.
Let’s help to get them ready. Let’s begin…
Young person, if you must know that the…
The first person you LEAD is you!
Leaders led themselves first by taking out the trash, making their beds, giving tithes and offerings, reading the Bible, serving, etc. Leaders lead by becoming followers of Jesus Christ first, and then they lead others to Christ. People are watching👀you, so you must lead by example.
Because sometimes the only Bible they read is you!!!
Week 1: Let them stand at the pulpit and take turns reading the Bible. This builds confidence in preparation to preach and teach; Hebrews 10:35-36.
Week 2: Listen to the Pastor’s message and have a discussion. What did you learn from today’s message?
This teaches them to remember and recall what they heard, to use pastor’s notes as preaching materials. That’s how I got started. I wrote down what the Pastor said and toke it home and preach it to myself.
Week 3: Remind yourself every day of what God’s word says about you.
Question: How are you feeling today? If you’re worried, what does God’s word say about it? Say it to yourself, and until peace comes, repeat in your mind Philippians 4:6.
Question: What are you thinking about? Protect your mind with Bible verses until you find peace.
This teaches you that you can change your circumstances and situation. It makes you feel empowered and gives you the power to change them or solve your problems.
True, I can be your teacher, but you will never learn unless you teach it to yourself first. It’s called taking responsibility for what happens to you from here on out. Another word for it is Adulting or time to grow up. Mom and Dad will NOT be here with you forever.
Week 4: Worship and praise🙌at home🏡first; then come to church and worship with the congregation. This creates closeness to God, being in His presence before you minister to people. Spend time with God ALONE before you spend time with people.
This teaches you to be a son, a daughter, and a child first. And then you can go play with other church members. Spending time with God creates a “bond between Father and son or daughter. Spending time alone with Jesus lets you know that God❤️loves you. Before the preacher tells you, you already know because you’ve spent time with God. For example, how do you know your wife or husband loves you? Answer: Because you spent time together. It’s the same thing with you and God.
Week 5: Pray; the Bible says to pray without ceasing; 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
Pray about everything; when you’re angry, hurt, lied to, disrespected, anxious, happy, feeling stupid or taken advantage of, when someone gives you the middle finger🖕rent money is due, paycheck is too small, who you should marry, etc.
Say this prayer🙏Father God, I’m angry, hurt…I’m struggling to forgive them, please help me to forgive them Holy Spirit. And help me to forgive myself too. This is just an example of prayer. Start there first; it does something for your heart. David said, “Create in me a clean heart;” Psalms 51:10-12; this keeps your heart right with God.
This teaches you to make your decisions with God; a man plans his way, but God orders his steps, Proverbs 16:9.
Ps: How to build your team, according to Ephesians 4:11.
Look at your✋️hands and fingers; let’s talk about the FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY…
…the thumb represents the APOSTLE; God called him to build churches and build people.
…the👉pointing finger represents the PROPHET; God called him to see the future, to prophecy.
…the middle finger🖕God called him to be EVANGELIST, always trying to reach the lost and lonely people with salvation and repentance of sins.
…the ring💍finger, God called him to be the PASTOR, always loving and caring with the🐑sheep or body of Christ.
…the little finger, God called you to be the TEACHER, always in your ears explaining or sharing wisdom with you.
The five-fold ministry is called to equip the church; Ephesians 4:11.

Welcome, I'm Karen!
Hello friend! Writing has been my passion since I was nine. Winning my first writing contest at that young age inspired me to keep improving my skills. Fast forward to when I was 22 years old when I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that led me to become a devout Christian. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to use my writing abilities to spread the word of God and positively impact the world.

  • Over the past 30 years, I have poured myself into my writing, producing a wide range of content that spans from letters to prisoners and newsletters to newspaper articles, books, and social media posts.
  • For the past four years, I have even been contributing to the Churchome App, sharing my thoughts, insights, and experiences with the wider Christian community.
  • I am particularly proud of my latest books, "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" and "It's Just Good Housekeeping."
  • "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" is about loving God, loving people, and serving people.
  • "It's Just Good Housekeeping." is about finding an attractive way to encourage everyone to read their Bible because reading the Bible has an impact on keeping our lives clean and pure.

These books are a testament to my love of writing, as well as my commitment to using that writing to inspire, inform, and entertain people from all walks of life.
