Things that make you go, Hmmm

Arsenio Hall used to say; things that make you go, hmm🤔
Have you ever wondered why questions?
Responding to today’s Daily Guided Prayer @Churchome…
Question: Why does God want to be in a relationship with me?
Answer: Why do you want to be a parent to your child?
Anyway, I have questions too…
Here are my questions.
The Question is a song by The Winans.
1. Men or Adam, let’s start with you, seeing that you were created “first by God; Genesis 2:7; Genesis 2:20-25… I’m just trying to show you some respect. Feel me, bro!
Anyway, If the root cause is rebellion and pride. What is it that leads you there, to the point of indifference? Was it gambling, porn, revenge, etc?
Are your vices more important than being a son? Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:6-7. Things that make you go, hmm🤔
2. Women, we know that the root cause is deception because you were deceived by the devil; Genesis 3:1-24.
But why is it more important to “look good than “be good? Things that make you go, hmm🤔
3. Black people, why do you refuse to forgive white people?
Is unforgiveness towards white people more important than freedom?
Because unforgiveness keeps you a “slave forever! Things that make you go, hmm🤔
4. White people, why are you afraid of black people? Is it due to the guilt of being slave owners at one time?
I know you’ve tried to make reparations, but have you forgiven yourself for what you…have done? Things that make you go, hmm🤔
5. Let’s look at your life, childhood trauma, triggers and tares. An enemy has done this; Matthew 13:1-58.
True, but will you allow the Lord to sow🪴and grow wheat in your life? The wheat is His word. Things that make you go, hmm🤔
6. World leaders in…I know that you are aware of the starving kids in your country. Why do you let another man from another country feed them?
Why do you not lead them to Christ; is He not the bread; John 6:33-66. Things that make you go hmm🤔
7. Do you tithe; Malachi 3:8-12; out of obligation. Do you give 10% percent of your land, animals, vegetation, and people to the Lord?
Again, do you tithe out of obligation? Or is it because my daddy God wants me to? Because it’s a father/son thing; you know, we are in covenant, right?
Things that make you go, hmm🤔
8. Are you reading the Bible because it’s a subject to study?
Or are you reading the Bible because you want to get to know the author…Jesus? And lastly, things that make you go, hmm🤔
Let’s peel the🧅onion… let’s look at the questions that don’t usually come up in conversation.
Helping you get further un-stuck, because who the Son sets free, is free indeed; John 8:36.
Being stuck keeps you paralyzed.
But faith in God gets you
unstuck gives you wings to
Walk this Way song by Aerosmith. Yeah! Man, 🥰love me some Aerosmith.

Have a great weekend!

Welcome, I'm Karen!
Hello friend! Writing has been my passion since I was nine. Winning my first writing contest at that young age inspired me to keep improving my skills. Fast forward to when I was 22 years old when I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that led me to become a devout Christian. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to use my writing abilities to spread the word of God and positively impact the world.

  • Over the past 30 years, I have poured myself into my writing, producing a wide range of content that spans from letters to prisoners and newsletters to newspaper articles, books, and social media posts.
  • For the past four years, I have even been contributing to the Churchome App, sharing my thoughts, insights, and experiences with the wider Christian community.
  • I am particularly proud of my latest books, "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" and "It's Just Good Housekeeping."
  • "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" is about loving God, loving people, and serving people.
  • "It's Just Good Housekeeping." is about finding an attractive way to encourage everyone to read their Bible because reading the Bible has an impact on keeping our lives clean and pure.

These books are a testament to my love of writing, as well as my commitment to using that writing to inspire, inform, and entertain people from all walks of life.
