Profile Rahab (1)

Profile: Rahab

Now, let’s do a profile on Rahab’s life.

Let’s look at the LOGOS “divine reason or word of God.”

Rahab’s Story

Joshua 2:1-24; Hebrews 11:31.

In Hebrews 11:31, it says that Rahab did not perish with the disobedient because of what she did by faith. Her heart melted in fear of the Lord, but by faith, it was rebuilt strong again. Rahab’s faith saves the spies, saves Israel, and saves her family. In the process, Rahab also gains a special role in God’s story.

Hebrew word for Rahab: It means pride or arrogance and storming against someone or something.

Quick Facts:

Born: Jericho

Children: Boaz

Profession: Spy, female prostitute

Famous For: Helping the Israelite spies.

What did we learn from this Bible character?

Rahab was doing her own thing, but she chose to side with God and help His people.

Here comes the RHEMA WORDS, which are the “spoken word of God.”

There are many Rehabs in the world today. Harlots, whores, etc. These poor ladies are being used for human or sex-trafficking purposes.

What can be done to free these women? Answer: Thank you, Lord, for non-profit organizations like A21.org.

I like the fact that she did something about her sit-ma-tion or situation. She could have stayed down and defeated and depressed.

By saying, “I’m always going to be a slut, a ho, a hooker, I’ll never going to among to anything, and I’ll never be respected in the community.” But I’m grateful Jesus stepped in, wrote on the ground, and reached her level. I’m talking about the woman who was caught in adultery; John 8:1-12.

And give her back her self-respect.

This is just a brief synopsis of…

Hello friend! Writing has been my passion since I was nine. Winning my first writing contest at that young age inspired me to keep improving my skills. Fast forward to when I was 22 years old when I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that led me to become a devout Christian. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to use my writing abilities to spread the word of God and positively impact the world.

  • Over the past 30 years, I have poured myself into my writing, producing a wide range of content that spans from letters to prisoners and newsletters to newspaper articles, books, and social media posts.
  • For the past four years, I have even been contributing to the Churchome App, sharing my thoughts, insights, and experiences with the wider Christian community.
  • I am particularly proud of my latest books, "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" and "It's Just Good Housekeeping."
  • "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" is about loving God, loving people, and serving people.
  • "It's Just Good Housekeeping." is about finding an attractive way to encourage everyone to read their Bible because reading the Bible has an impact on keeping our lives clean and pure.

These books are a testament to my love of writing, as well as my commitment to using that writing to inspire, inform, and entertain people from all walks of life.
