What did we learn from this Bible character?
My house shall be called a house of prayer. So many things to learn from Jesus; but I like this one the most.
Here comes the RHEMA WORDS, which are the “spoken word of God.”
My house🏠🙏your body shall be called a house of prayer; Isaiah 56:7; Matthew 21:13; Mark 11:17.
Destroy this temple, and in three days, I will raise it up; John 2:19-21.
As we hear the Lord Jesus declare, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.” (Jn 2:19), we believe that he is referring to His own “Body. In saying this, He is speaking of His Resurrection from the tomb.
You are the temple of the Holy Spirit; 1 Corinthians 6:19.
Romans 12:1, in the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible, says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your “bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
The Pharisees thought Jesus was referring to the man-made temple when he said, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up” (John 2:19). However, Jesus was actually referring to his own “body and his resurrection.
But here comes the revelation.
My house🏠your “body shall be called a house of prayer.
My house, my temple🏠is your “individual body or the “corporate body that I live in, says Jesus.
In your body, which is the temple, is where Jesus/Holy Spirit lives.
That’s why Jesus said, I stand at the door and knock; Behold, I stand at the gate and knock. If any man shall hear my voice, and open to me the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me; Revelation 3:20.
He wants to come into our hearts and have an intimate, covenantal relationship with us, but Jesus doesn’t want to barge or bully His way in.
“Because your body is my home, I could barge in, but I’m a gentleman; therefore, I knock,” says Jesus.
This is just a brief synopsis of…

Welcome, I'm Karen!
Hello friend! Writing has been my passion since I was nine. Winning my first writing contest at that young age inspired me to keep improving my skills. Fast forward to when I was 22 years old when I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that led me to become a devout Christian. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to use my writing abilities to spread the word of God and positively impact the world.
- Over the past 30 years, I have poured myself into my writing, producing a wide range of content that spans from letters to prisoners and newsletters to newspaper articles, books, and social media posts.
- For the past four years, I have even been contributing to the Churchome App, sharing my thoughts, insights, and experiences with the wider Christian community.
- I am particularly proud of my latest books, "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" and "It's Just Good Housekeeping."
- "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" is about loving God, loving people, and serving people.
- "It's Just Good Housekeeping." is about finding an attractive way to encourage everyone to read their Bible because reading the Bible has an impact on keeping our lives clean and pure.
These books are a testament to my love of writing, as well as my commitment to using that writing to inspire, inform, and entertain people from all walks of life.
