Profile David

Profile: David

Now, let’s do a profile on David’s life.

Let’s look at the LOGOS “divine reason or word of God.”

David’s life:

1 Samuel 16-31; 2 Samuel 1-24; 1 Kings 2:1-12; 1 Chronicles; 2 Chronicles.

Book of Psalms:

King David is often considered the primary author of the Book of Psalms, writing 73 of the 150 Psalms.

What is David famous for?

David, who was a shepherd in his youth, became King of Israel and ruled during 1090-970 BCE. He is most famous for playing the harp while worshiping God and for killing the Philistine giant, Goliath, with a slingshot and a rock.

What did we learn from this Bible character?

King David was so special to God because he had a heart after God. When he sinned, he would mourn over it and ask God for forgiveness.

Here comes the RHEMA WORDS “spoken word of God.”

We know the story. David became a great warrior and king.

But let’s look at his story in reverse.

What do you think would’ve happened to David if he hadn’t gone to feed his brothers on the battlefield?

…if he hadn’t killed Goliath?

…instead of moving in with King Saul and living in the palace, leave with his wife Michal and live elsewhere; would Saul have hated him so much?

…if he had stayed on the battlefield instead of having sex with Uriah’s wife?

Consequently, he lost his son Absalom, who died, and his kingdom was decided.

But in God’s redemption and grace, he had Solomon, who was known for his wisdom.

Giving you a brief synopsis !!!

From that point on, I knew that I wanted to use my writing abilities to spread the word of God and positively impact the world.

  • Over the past 30 years, I have poured myself into my writing, producing a wide range of content that spans from letters to prisoners and newsletters to newspaper articles, books, and social media posts.
  • For the past four years, I have even been contributing to the Churchome App, sharing my thoughts, insights, and experiences with the wider Christian community.
  • I am particularly proud of my latest books, "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" and "It's Just Good Housekeeping."
  • "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" is about loving God, loving people, and serving people.
  • "It's Just Good Housekeeping." is about finding an attractive way to encourage everyone to read their Bible because reading the Bible has an impact on keeping our lives clean and pure.

These books are a testament to my love of writing, as well as my commitment to using that writing to inspire, inform, and entertain people from all walks of life.
