Peace Visited Me Today
I heard someone knocked softly on the door, Revelation 3:20.
“Come in, I said. It was Peace. Wow! Peace is a “person. I didn’t know Peace had “legs. I always thought of Peace as a “thing. Not a “Person.
I acted like Peace that passes all understanding, Philippians 4:7, was a feeling. You know, like I “feel peaceful. But It just dawn on me. Peace is not “just a feeling.
But a actual Person giving you a bear🫂hug.
Lately, I had been so worked up, irritable, frustrated. With everything going on in the world, right now. It was hard to stay Peaceful.
Then I realized that “disease or dis-at-ease, is the opposite of Peace.
Dis-ease” is a word meaning a lack of ease, comfort, or proper function, which can manifest as physical pain, emotional distress, or a general sense of unease.
Peace be still, I heard myself saying.
