1. IN SUCCESSION OF KINGS, 1 Kings-2 Kings

In Succession of Kings, 1 Kings 1:1-22; 2 Kings 1:1-25.

In succession of Kings and my queen.

To my Kings and queens; Genesis 17:16. First things first!

A. Establish yourself! Build something for God! Now that the manna has ceased; Joshua 5:12; in the promise-land. Build something for God! Build Him a house; 1 Kings 5-6. After what God brought you out of and through, the least you can do is build Him a house.

B. My queen, do not deceived the King or your King. Do not turn his heart away from God. Don’t make the same mistakes these ladies did; 1 Kings 11-1-14; 1 Kings 19:1-21; 2 Kings 9:7-37.

C. Young Buck or King, it’s tempting “not to take advice from anyone now that you are King; 1 Kings 12:1-19. Do your best to show compassion for your people.

D. My King, when making hard decisions, seek wisdom from the Lord; 1 Kings 3:1-28.

E. Warning! My King, do not turn away from the Lord after He answered your prayer or give you your promise; 1 Kings 2-9.

2. MOMMY AND ME, until the independent stage kicked in. We were inseparable, mommy and me, until… Like mommy and me, my church and I were inseparable. Whatever they were doing, I was doing. I wanted to do it too. If they were leading groups or doing uplifts, I wanted to do it too. Until one day, the independent stage kicked in; 1 Corinthians 13:11.

Who am I, aside from mommy and me or my Pastors? I started asking myself twenty questions. Such as, do I like to sing? Why? What songs? Slow or upbeat? Do I like to pastor or Shepherd people, yes, or no? Do I like to preach, too loud, yes, no? Are you more of a teacher? What’s your style, expository? I even started to weigh the pros and cons; money; cost?

Do I like to write? What style of writing do I like? Novel? Non-fiction? Fiction? Short? Long? Do I like being a published author? Write booklets? Short stories or blog posts, articles; etc. Aside from mommy and me, I was trying to find myself; what makes me authentic? What stirs my passion? What makes me angry or righteous indignation? What wakes me up? At some point, if I wanted to find out who I am in Christ, I would have to separate myself from mommy and me or my “pastor’s vision. Now the difference between daddy’s and mommy’s vision is, that daddy’s vision is all about “direction and discipline and mommy’s vision is all about filling in the “details of daddy’s vision. For example, when daddy speaks, he says, “about two miles, turn left, then make a right. Mommy is saying the “same thing daddy is saying, just with vivid details. For example, mommy speaking, “look for the pink pony when you turn left and the little mermaid🧜‍♂️when you turn right. In other words, Father God and your Pastor “cast vision; direction; this is how you build the tabernacle or church building; red paint, blue curtains, three chairs, etc. And mommy and Holy Spirit fills in the details. Doesn’t make it right or wrong, just different functions. Learning to listen and work together is🔑key. Anyway, I had to find my own vision in Christ Jesus. I remembered when I was younger, I used to copy the “my pastors, until the independent stage kicked in. That’s when I went on a journey to find “my own voice. I couldn’t do it without Holy Spirit helping me. I needed Him to help me unravel the onion, called my life. What did my inner voice sounded like, when I wasn’t trying to “copy my pastor’s tone and big👟shoes to fill? Who did I sound like, when I’m not copying other people?

Ask yourself that question! I had to learn that the “voice with-IN my voice or Rhema word that came from within me, is Holy Spirit.

Listening is🔑key. And learning to discern whose voice was I listening to, is also🔑key! Holy Spirit or my own voice? And which part of the conversation was He speaking through? 2 minutes into the conversation or 30 minutes after? When was He using me? And when He wasn’t? Like I said before, listening is🔑key. Selah !!! Selah means something to think🤔about. Hmm!

3. DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION OF…

4. WHAT TO DO WHEN THE MANNA CEASED

Like I said before; the manna has ceased after they ate the produce of the land; Joshua 5:12.

Trust your “gut instincts, not your feelings… tiny voice on the inside of you or Holy Spirit. And when you can’t hear Holy Spirit; “say this to yourself, I don’t know if it’s God speaking to me about this; what to preach. But if you can use it, Lord, go ahead and use it for your glory.

We’ve “crossed over. We’re no longer “wilder babies, but “promise landers. Just remember to “keep the main thing, the main thing; this God of heaven and earth, is your God. The manna has ceased for the children of Israel. No more manna from heaven. They now have to work the land, plant crops. They became judges, kings and prophets in order to build a nation. Even the Messiah Jesus came from this land. You see, back then, in the wilderness, they traveled from place to place “unhouse”. But in the promise-land, you have to put down some roots, and create a little spread “house” for yourself.

But in today’s world, “spiritual cross over takes place in the mind. I might still look like a wilder babies, but in my “mind I’m a promise lander. It means from stinking thinking to overcomer thinking. Wilderness is a “mindset.

It represents being “stuck mentally, there you are going around the same mountain, thinking the same way for forty years about money, life, relationships, religion, etc.

Promise-land means that you’re “no longer stuck” in your mind. You’re changing how you think about everything, Romans 12:2. Your thinking has to be different in the promise-land. You’re no longer in the wilderness. You’re in the promise-land now. How you think about everything has to be different. How you used to think about stuff in the wilderness versus how you think about stuff in the promise-land has to change.

5. REMEMBER TO CREATE A FAMILY PHOTO

In what ways can we “partake in God’s presence? It’s the family photo📸of creating a moment and memories in the presence of God that shows we “partake. It’s dropping everything to be there. It’s making vacation time with God… cause when the moment is gone, it’s gone, and you can’t get it back. All you can do is try and create a new memory. No one can make you enter the presence of God and stay there for as long as He needs you, too. With such busy schedules, who makes time for the Lord these days? Who wants to make time? I can tell you to make time, but unless you want to, you won’t.

So, we’re right back where we started. Somethings cannot be taught but caught. I can’t teach you to spend time in God’s presence. You have to want to. We have to CHASE GOD now. Yes, it’s true, we do have a choice; we don’t have to be there. He spent all this time chasing us; we have to chase Him now. These things have a way of turning around on us.

God wants to see if you will chase Him? The parent chases the child all these years; will the child now turn around and chase the parent!!!

… say this with me; Father God, we can’t make up for not being there in the past, but we would like to be here now and in the future; we thank you for the gift of forgiveness, Psalms 103:12. Anyway, I wanted you to see how it looks. It’s the same in the natural realm as it is in the spiritual realm. It’s the same lesson, just different partners. Let’s have some “organic praise, don’t perform. Let’s praise Him 👏 🙌 without the instruments. Let’s just enjoy being with Him in the moment. Just you and God; Jesus. Let’s just have organic praise! We don’t need ‘No Muzick ‘song” by Mali Music.

By the way, protesting to get what you want takes forever, but praise gets you there quicker.
