About

Hi, I'm Karen!
What is the History of my business?
Hello friend! Writing has been my passion since I was nine. Winning my first writing contest at that young age inspired me to keep improving my skills. Fast forward to when I was 22 years old when I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that led me to become a devout Christian. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to use my writing abilities to spread the word of God and positively impact the world.
- Over the past 30 years, I have poured myself into my writing, producing a wide range of content that spans from letters to prisoners and newsletters to newspaper articles, books, and social media posts.
- For the past four years, I have even been contributing to the Churchome App, sharing my thoughts, insights, and experiences with the wider Christian community.
- I am particularly proud of my latest books, "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" and "It's Just Good Housekeeping."
- "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" is about loving God, loving people, and serving people.
- "It's Just Good Housekeeping." is about finding an attractive way to encourage everyone to read their Bible because reading the Bible has an impact on keeping our lives clean and pure.
These books are a testament to my love of writing, as well as my commitment to using that writing to inspire, inform, and entertain people from all walks of life.
What is the Mission of my Business?
What is the Mission of my Business?
Why are you in this business?
My passion is to help people improve their mental health and transform their lives through the power of faith in Jesus. According to Romans 12:2 ESV, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.".
Recently, the headlines have been overwhelmed by "mass shootings and issues surrounding mental health," with many individuals hesitating to acknowledge their own accountability for their mental well-being.
- For example, think about what the Bible has to say about your feelings and thoughts. If you're feeling anxious, what does the Bible have to say about it?
- We have answers in the Bible about our mental health, but we don't apply them. As a mother of nations, I want to see my children healed, healthy, and whole. "Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul." 3 John 2 ESV
- My goal is to utilize the teachings of the Bible to bring about positive change in people's mental health, helping them to feel confident and optimistic rather than defeated and discouraged.
- I used to be depressed and suicidal, but I started believing and declaring in my life what the Bible says about me. Words like I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
- One of my favorite verses from Psalm 139 ESV "O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it."
- Knowing that Jesus died to redeem me from my sins transformed my heart. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 ESV
I held onto his forgiveness and began to feel better. "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1 ESV

What is the Vision of my Business?
What is the Vision of my Business?

My vision is called The Adulting Series/The Training Section.
The Growing Up Series, also known as the Adulting Series, aims to educate individuals about what the Bible teaches regarding mental health. My goal is to assist young people in managing their mental well-being and becoming devoted followers of Christ. As a mother, I am helping my children develop their mental maturity and move away from childish thinking patterns. Being a mother is a blessing, and I am happy to equip my children with the necessary tools to thrive in life. If you look at my Facebook page, Karen Hyles, or Pastor Karen Ministries, you'll see young people following me.
