Let’s Make Love, then Cook “Book”
Let’s Make Love, then Cook
Excerpt from my book. The Missing Chapter.
“More paprika,” Clara instructed, her hands resting on Ethan’s shoulders as he stirred the large pot of goulash. “And a little more love, you know.”
He chuckled. “Is that a secret ingredient from your grandmother’s recipe?”
“It’s a secret ingredient in everything,” she said playfully, squeezing his shoulders. “You have to mean it when you cook.”
He paused, spatula in hand, and looked up at her. The steam from the pot swirled around them, carrying the scent of rich beef and spices. Her face was flushed with the warmth of the stove, her dark hair pinned up in a careless bun. He put the spatula down and turned to face her, pulling her into a tight embrace.
“I mean it,” he said, his voice low.
She leaned her head against his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. “I know,” she whispered. The goulash could wait. Their love was the real recipe tonight.

Hmm! Steaming! Smile! For a minute there, I felt like I was in the book of Song of Solomon. The Song of Solomon, also known as the Song of Songs, is a biblical collection of ancient love poems celebrating the intense, physical, and committed love between a man and a woman in a marriage. It portrays the excitement and joy of physical attraction and intimacy within the covenant of marriage. The book can also be viewed allegorically as representing the passionate covenant relationship between God and his people, or between Christ and his church.
Human Love and Sexuality: The book is a passionate and poetic affirmation of the goodness of human sexuality within a marital union, expressing desire and physical attraction.
Mutual Desire and Courtship: It tells a story of mutual yearning and courtship between two lovers, highlighting the longing, joy, and beauty of their relationship.

Welcome, I'm Karen!
Hello friend! Writing has been my passion since I was nine. Winning my first writing contest at that young age inspired me to keep improving my skills. Fast forward to when I was 22 years old when I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that led me to become a devout Christian. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to use my writing abilities to spread the word of God and positively impact the world.
- Over the past 30 years, I have poured myself into my writing, producing a wide range of content that spans from letters to prisoners and newsletters to newspaper articles, books, and social media posts.
- For the past four years, I have even been contributing to the Churchome App, sharing my thoughts, insights, and experiences with the wider Christian community.
- I am particularly proud of my latest books, "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" and "It's Just Good Housekeeping."
- "Let's Make Love, Then Cook. It's Not What You Think" is about loving God, loving people, and serving people.
- "It's Just Good Housekeeping." is about finding an attractive way to encourage everyone to read their Bible because reading the Bible has an impact on keeping our lives clean and pure.
These books are a testament to my love of writing, as well as my commitment to using that writing to inspire, inform, and entertain people from all walks of life.
